Privacy terms
All of it begins with one email. An athlete or a club writes in about a season, a squad, or something that has stalled in the gym, and from that first message Omniathlete Sport Ltd is holding information about a named person.
WHAT REACHES US
An enquiry carries a name, the email address it was sent from, and whatever the sender put into it: the sport, the standard competed at, the shape of the season ahead, and the change being asked for. Where somebody writes on behalf of a club, the club name, the individual acting for it and a rough picture of the squad arrive alongside.
THE TRAINING FILE
Once coaching starts, that file becomes the working substance of the job. Inside it sit the movement assessment written up as coaching notes, the programme itself, and the log of what was completed — loads, distances, times, and the athlete's own account of how a session ran. Progression is argued against that log, which is why it is kept in full rather than in summary.
ATHLETES UNDER EIGHTEEN
For an athlete below eighteen the engagement is agreed with a parent or guardian, and questions about the file are answered through that adult. Squad work with young athletes runs on the consent arrangements the club already operates, and Omniathlete Sport Ltd works inside them.
PURPOSE, AND THE BASIS IN LAW
The material answers enquiries, carries the writing and adjustment of programmes, lets a session be coached with the athlete's current loading in view, and produces invoices. Three things stand behind that in law: the coaching agreement reached between the parties, the legitimate interest this company has in replying to those who approach it and in keeping the business running, and the record-keeping duties placed on a company registered in the United Kingdom.
HOW LONG A FILE LIVES
A training file stays for the length of the working relationship, then for the stretch of time in which a question about the programming could still be raised, and is destroyed at the end of it. Invoices and accounting entries stay for the span company tax rules fix. An enquiry that goes no further is wiped when the thread between us ends.
WHO READS IT
Within the company the file is open to whoever is writing or coaching that programme. On club work, the coaches carrying the squad read the parts they need to run the plan, on terms fixed with the club. The accountant reads the invoicing entries. Past that point disclosure runs to a public authority where the law calls for it, and stops there.
THIS WEBSITE
The site is a small set of plain files, served exactly as they were written. Whatever makes the front page behave, the counting figures included, travels inside the markup that reaches your browser, so what this company knows about you begins with the email you choose to send.
WHAT YOU CAN REQUIRE
- ACCESS
- — Say the word and a copy of your file comes back to you in writing.
- CORRECTION
- — Point at a line that reads wrong and it is put right at source.
- ERASURE
- — Where the law leaves this company free to let a file go, it goes on request.
- LIMITS
- — A record can be parked and left untouched while a dispute about it is settled.
- TRANSFER
- — Your details go out in a machine-readable file, to you or to whoever you name.
- OBJECTION
- — Name a use that sits badly with you and that use ends, unless a legal duty holds it open.
Every request draws an answer inside the window UK law sets, and where a file has to stay put, the reason for keeping it is spelled out in that reply.
